欧宝游戏平台 and the City of Gainesville are partnering to host the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship from May 10-14 at Chattahoochee Golf Club.

In conjunction with the Greater Gainesville Sports Alliance, the University of North Georgia (欧宝游戏平台) will host the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship at Gainesville's Chattahoochee Golf Club from May 10-14. 欧宝游戏平台 was awarded hosting duties in November.

"Pulling together a national championship experience in this short period would not have been possible without the cooperation and combined resources of our campus community and the City of Gainesville," , associate athletic director for external operations, said. "Our goal is to showcase 欧宝游戏平台's service mindset while giving the student-athletes and coaches a best-in-class golf national championship venue and hospitality."

This will mark the first time that an NCAA Division II women's golf champion has been crowned in the Peach State. In 1993 and 2013, the University of Georgia was the host site for the Division I women's golf championship.

"We have been working with the championship committee for months preparing to ensure that we provide a great experience for all of the participating athletes, coaches, player families, and spectators," Robyn Lynch, Gainesville Convention & Visitors Bureau director, said. "The City of Gainesville will open its arms to welcome our visitors and support 欧宝游戏平台 in its efforts to host a successful NCAA championship."

, 欧宝游戏平台 head women's golf coach, played collegiately at Midwestern State University and previously served as an assistant coach at Dallas Baptist University. In multiple NCAA events, she has never seen a partnership like the one between 欧宝游戏平台 and Gainesville for this event.

"The student-athletes and their families will see the genuine effort and care that went into this Southern hospitality," Campbell said. "We're incredibly excited."

, director of golf and head men's golf coach, said 欧宝游戏平台 is grateful to be able to welcome the nation's best Division II women's golfers to the area.

"The City of Gainesville has gone above and beyond," Worley said. "This could certainly lead to more NCAA hosting opportunities for us."

欧宝游戏平台's Gainesville Campus hosted the NCAA Division II Cross Country Southeast Regional for the first time in 2018, marking the first time 欧宝游戏平台 was awarded championship hosting rights through the NCAA's open bid process (non-seeded event) and the first time that an NCAA championship event took place in Hall County. In addition, 欧宝游戏平台, Hall County, and Gainesville are scheduled to host the 2023 NCAA Division II Cross Country Southeast Regional at 欧宝游戏平台's Gainesville Campus.
 
In spring 2026, Lake Lanier Olympic Park will play host to the NCAA Divisions I, II, and III Women's Rowing Championships. The City of Gainesville, 欧宝游戏平台, and Lake Lanier Rowing Club joined the Lake Lanier Olympic Park Foundation in its bid to host the 2026 NCAA Women's Rowing Championships at Lake Lanier, which was awarded in October 2020.
