All students should complete a Confirmation of Acceptance. Refer to the Undergraduate Admissions Confirmation of Acceptance page for what action you need to take. You must submit your confirmation by our deadlines, or if accepted after the confirmation deadline, within two weeks of acceptance.

You must complete the Confirmation of Acceptance process prior to receiving access to the Online Pre-Orientation modules.

You will use the same username and password to log in to a number of important university systems.  to find your username and enroll in the password management system.

Note: When setting up your Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), before setting up biometric approvals (face/fingerprint), please define your phone for calls and texts to prevent issues when authenticating to additional devices. 

Once you have activated your Å·±¦ÓÎϷƽ̨ account, for your security, all Å·±¦ÓÎϷƽ̨ contact and correspondence will be sent to your Å·±¦ÓÎϷƽ̨ email account. Please also use your Å·±¦ÓÎϷƽ̨ email account when contacting Å·±¦ÓÎϷƽ̨ faculty and staff. It is important to be checking this email consistently on a weekly or daily basis.

Please note: After a student is admitted, it may take up to 48 hours before the student's information is available to activate. If you are not able to activate your Å·±¦ÓÎϷƽ̨ account after 48 hours, contact the IT Service Desk at 706-864-1922 for assistance with activation.

In order to utilize Dual Enrollment funding, the yearly Dual Enrollment funding application must be completed through . Eligible Dual Enrollment students may receive up to 30 credit hours of approved course funding during their time in the Dual Enrollment program. A list of Dual Enrollment approved courses can be found on the .

Students that exceed thirty credit hours or choose to take non-approved courses, will self-pay for those courses. If you are close to exceeding your hours or plan to take a non-approved course, email your Dual Enrollment Advisor for mandatory additional paperwork that must be completed prior to your advising appointment. This form must be signed by a parent and high school/home study counselor prior to any Å·±¦ÓÎϷƽ̨ course registration. 

In addition, students may not receive Dual Enrollment funding to retake a course for a second time. Students who wish to retake a course will self-pay for the reattempted course. This includes if a student should withdraw from a course and decide to take it another semester. Email your Dual Enrollment Advisor for mandatory additional paperwork that must be completed prior to registering for the course you plan to retake.

As you may already know, obtaining special accommodations in college is different than it is in high school.  If you previously had an IEP, 504 plan, or other documentation that would reflect the need for accommodations, please contact the Office of Student Accessibility Services to discuss your specific needs and the process to receive accommodations at Å·±¦ÓÎϷƽ̨. Please be advised that the intake process takes time, so it’s important to schedule an appointment before the start of term to ensure your accommodations are in place when classes begin. Students must actively request accommodations, even when they transfer from another college, through the Student Accessibility Services office in order to receive them.

Once registered, you will need to notify your professor(s) in order to receive special accommodations.

Students admitted to the Dual Enrollment program at Å·±¦ÓÎϷƽ̨ are highly encouraged to attend Nighthawk First Phase which covers Dual Enrollment Orientation information presented in a live virtual session via Zoom. A parent or guardian may attend along with the student.

All new students who are attending regularly scheduled classes (including distance learners) or are receiving resident credit are required to submit a Certificate of Immunization (PDF) to Student Health Services. All students must electronically submit an immunization form via the .
